Many of you probably lived through the same storm, but I took a few pictures of my back yard and I thought I would send them out to those of you who live in warmer climes to see. I also included a picture of the geraniums which I rescued prior to the storm and saved a touch of summer.

You really got some snow Bernie, we got the high winds but not much snow to go with it. Your geraniums are lovely, glad you saved them!

I'm sure this is more beautiful to me than you. I really miss the snow around christmas. Build a snowman for me.
The scenes are beautiful...from a distance. I love the flowers but don't want the snow.
How beautiful! That's one of the things I miss about living in Colorado - the snow. We didn't get any here in northwest Georgia, but it will be in the low 20s tonight. I hope you're bundled up nice and warm in front of a roaring fire! Love the geraniums - I brought in the one big one I had on the front porch, but don't know if it'll make it all the way til summer.

What a beautiful contrast of summer and winter all in one post. Geraniums will survive until summer which is why I like them so much. Stay inside and warm.

That's a jarring contrast - the snow and the geraniums. While the snow is beautiful, I'll take the bright cheer of the flowers any day of the week (plus the sunshine they flourish under).
It looks just like here in the Sierra's! We have about two feet. And cold! The skiiers over the holiday are going to love it!

We are so fortunate - no snow yet!! But the snow looks absolutely beautiful at your place, as do the geraniums that you saved. I'm sure they add quite the bright spot of color in your house. :)
